Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Newspaper Column, Bigfoot

Reader, as of this moment it appears that Rick Dyer has killed a bigfoot. If you will recall, Dyer in 2008 put together a bigfoot hoax which CNN aired as breaking news. A week or so before the program aired photos of the animal were released. I’ll never forget how real the animal looked in that freezer (lolling tongue, head twisted unnaturally). We were soon to find out it was not real. And now this same man claims to have shot and killed a bigfoot in Texas.

Because of the 2008 hoax, doors were opened to Dyer and he was invited all over the world to look for bigfoot; and mind you, he didn’t even believe in bigfoot at this time. It was only later, 2009, that he says he sighted bigfoot and became a believer. I could be wrong here, he might have had his sighting and then was invited to China and Russia and other countries. Whatever the exact timeline, let us not forget the man used a lie to catapult himself into bigfoot history. Isn’t that the way of things; the honest, the quiet, the hard-working man, often does not enjoy the glitter this world has to offer. But perhaps man was not created for glitter. Good honest work has its own rich rewards. And, a good reputation can not be bought for so little as a lie.

I’ve noticed Rick Dyer is trying not to use profanity on his radio broadcasts. I’m happy for that. He said it was because children were listening. Whatever the reason, it is good he’s stopped.

So, if we can believe what is on the Internet, a movie of some sort will be released on Dyer’s bigfoot. I’ve heard that before, you are probably saying. I feel the same, if you are thinking of the ESP Team’s documentary. The company producing the ESP Team documentary, if you will recall, is supposed to be stalled in legal problems and possible bankruptcy. The team claims to possess three good clear photos of the animal they’ve named Big Clyde. On our online bigfoot magazine, Bigfoot Ballyhoo (www.bigfootballyhoo.blogspot.com) you will find a fuzzy photo of Big Clyde taken from the batch of clear photos. These photos are from a trail cam.

Now we wait to hear and see if Dyer’s claims are true. If a bigfoot is dead on a slab somewhere in Nevada, the world is close to hearing the crashing sound of laughter stopped at the mention of bigfoot. Until next week, Linda Perry with Christopher Perry

Thanks for the report Linda, I just listened to Chris Noel saying Rick Dyer's Bigfoot is real, but he did not reveal his source. I have met and been in the Woods with Chris Noel. He is a respectable and truthful person and has produced some documentaries. I guess its time for Rick Dyrer to put up or shut up so to speak. I guess time will tell.
